Aaron Bullock had a day to remember last Tuesday.
The talented rider came home with four wins before an enthused crowd at the Newcastle Jockey Club.
The 31-year-old celebrated his 500th career win when riding ‘Lord Winston’ to victory for legendary trainer Kris Lees in the 1350m The Prince Of Merewether Cg&e Maiden Handicap.
He then made it a double when taking ‘Angelical’ over the line in the following race for Scone trainer Paul Messara. It marked the 3yo filly’s first start.
Bullock capped off the day with a further two victories with ‘Spellcatcher’ and ‘Miracle Day’ for Lees to cement the jockey-trainer treble.
Bullock and Lees will once again combine forces in Mudgee this afternoon when riding ‘Hector Sagoa’ in the Maiden Plate and ‘One Star Shining’ in the BM66, Handicap.
