Back to back titles for Gorman

He is the president Upper Hunter Veterans Golf Association and now he is a defending champion.

Paul Gorman has once again been announced as the winner of the Vets’ Bernie Behringer Memorial Par 3 event for 2020.

Gorman won with nett 72 from second placed Des Partridge (73), third placed Warren Rankin (74 -C/B), Doug Dowell (74) and Alby Colbert (78).

The putting wine kindly donated by Aberdeen Recreation Club, was won by Warren Rankin with 38 putts C/B over the 24 holes.

Balls were awarded to Jim Elder and Rod Upton (79).

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Gary Gray.

IN OTHER NEWS this week’s competition which was to be held at the Denman Golf Club on Tuesday, July 28 was cancelled by Captain Phil Ledgerwood.
