The Muswellbrook Cats are ready for season 2022.
The local AFL Hunter Central Coast club will play host to the Tamworth Kangaroos this Saturday (women’s match 11am, men’s 1pm) before welcoming the Singleton Roosters on Saturday, March 19 (10am and 12pm) for the Nathan Duncan Memorial Shield match.
While numbers have increased at training, Cats senior vice president Mark McLaughlin has confirmed there are still plenty of spots on both team lists.
“We are always looking for new players and we have great club with fantastic sponsors,” he told The Hunter River Times.
The Cats will also be holding their annual Yabbie Races event at the Muswellbrook Hotel at 3pm on Saturday, March 19.
