Essential maintenance work at Keys Bridge on Bengalla Road at Muswellbrook will mean some changed traffic conditions.
Transport for NSW will carry out the work from Tuesday 16th to Thursday 18th September from 8:30am to 3pm to do load testing and general routine maintenance.
If you’re needing to go that way, the bridge will be closed for 15 minutes during each test. A total of 10 tests will be conducted per day.
Traffic control, single lane closures, stop/slow traffic arrangements and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists. Please allow up to 15 minutes’ extra travel time.
Over Size Over Mass vehicles will be escorted through the site and will be required to stop near the work site on Bengalla Road and call the project team on 0472 901 725.
Emergency services will be allowed through the bridge closures but there may be short delays.
