Changed traffic conditions on the Golden Highway at Jerrys Plains

SHARE THE STORY:

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from this week on the Golden Highway (Lonsdale Street/ Pringle Street) at Jerrys Plains to install traffic control barriers for the safety of workers during construction of road widening for the Port to Renewable Energy Zones project.

Work starting on Wednesday 24 June will be carried out from 6am to 6pm and is expected to be completed over two days, weather permitting.

Traffic control, a reduced speed limit of 40km/h and temporary lane closures will be in place for the safety of pedestrians, workers and motorists.

The reduced speed limit will remain in place from this week until the road widening project at this location is complete. Transport for NSW will keep the local community and road users informed as the project progresses.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
