Ourcare Services Ltd achieved a trifecta by winning three of the 16 categories including the highly coveted Excellence in Business award presented by Mayor Sue Moore, at the 2021 Singleton Business Excellence Awards held at Club Singleton on Friday night.
Lesleigh Adie, CEO of Ourcare Services Ltd was also named Outstanding Business Leader and her team won the award for Excellence in Medium/Large Business.
In the 13 formal categories, 73 entries were received while the response from the general public in the three popular categories was astounding with a total of 4313 votes received.
In addition to Ourcare Services Ltd; Singleton Neighbourhood Centre Inc, The Eye Place and The Shed Fitness all collected awards in multiple categories with the remaining winners split evenly amongst the entrants.
Chamber president Sue Gilroy said it is not always easy to show up every day, take the good with the bad and take the next step.
“We all face fear and challenges each day and you as business owners and leaders should be immensely proud of the contribution you give to our community because you are the ones that make our community what it is,” Ms Gilroy said.
