The Greta Branxton Colts will aim for a premiership double when playing host to two Hunter Valley Combined Competitions grand finals tomorrow.

The Colts will kick-off the day at Greta Central Oval when taking on Thornton/Beresfield in the HVCC under-14 (second tier) final at 9am.

Greta Branxton secured a spot in their second straight grand final by defeating Raymond Terrace 10-4 last week.

However, they will need to redeem their 28-12 loss to the Bears in Round 6 if they are any chance to claim tomorrow’s title.

All eyes will then be on the HVCC under-18 grand final (10:55am) when the Colts’ play host to fellow Group 21 outfit Denman.

The home side has had a season to remember with a 40-4 victory against Cardiff and a 74-2 annihilation of Kotara at Hudson Park.

But they did face an early 16-6 defeat to Denman in Round 6, making tomorrow’s grand final a mouth-watering match-up.

In other news, the Singleton Greyhounds will take on Swansea in the under-15 second division grand final while Scone play off against Valentine (under-13 second division) for the ultimate prize.
