Muswellbrook Heelers president Michael Hall has confirmed his club is seeking expressions of interest for the 2022 season.

“We are going to return to training soon so if you are new in town or want to try rugby union then all roads lead to Highbrook Park,” Hall explained.

“We are looking forward to seeing some new faces and as soon as the warm weather cools down the smell of Dencorub will be in the air.”

Last season the Heelers resurrected a 1-5 start with a memorable seven game winning streak in the NHRU Divisional competition.

To add to the tale, teammates Cameron Young and Will Hobden both tied for the competition’s coveted Cyril Burke medal (a record fourth win for Young).

The Heelers hope to remain in the premiership race this season.

Those interested in joining are urged to make contact with Hall who can be contacted by email (pr*******************@gm***.com) or through the club’s Facebook page.
