The Hunter Valley Campdraft Club will hold its annual campdraft this Saturday from 7am at Dulcamah (John and Julie Moore’s property) in Whittingham.
“This will be the first annual draft to be held at the new grounds for the club,” club president Mark McNamara told The Hunter River Times.
“We have had enormous support from our major sponsors Hunter Valley Operations, we were very grateful to have received a grant from the second round of the Hunter Valley Operations Community Grants in 2020.”
The infrastructure was also made possible by long term supporters of the club being Murray and Deborah Schaefer of National Stockyard Systems, David Badior of Addweld Fabrications and Garry Howlett for his donation of time and skills in erecting the arena.
“Without motivated members and sponsors we could not run such a successful event,” he concluded.
“Special thanks to Peter and Luke Nichols, Hunter Valley Tracks Rutherford, Jurds Real Estate and Hellfire Paintball.”
