Linda Hutchison (Beautiful People)
Every fortnight The Hunter River Times intends to thank a member of our community for their kindness and care.
Our first recipient was Katrina Household, owner of the popular All 4 You clothing boutique in Singleton.
This week the spotlight was cast on Muswellbrook and District Workers Club head chef Linda Hutchison.
Her team collaborated with the Muswellbrook Council in an effort to provide subsidised meals for members of the community severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Greatly assisted by the region’s other clubs, the entities were able to provide 600 meals by Tuesday, June 30 (the final delivery).
“I’m proud of the past three months,” she told The Hunter River Times.
“I’m quite surprised to receive these to be honest but I’m honoured.”
The proud chef commenced her career back in 1989.
She would then move to Muswellbrook from Richmond in 2018.
“I work with great people, I work for great people and the patrons are just lovely,” she declared.
