Juniors Return to Howe Park

The kids are back.
Young aces from across the Upper Hunter made their way through the gates of the Howe Park Tennis Club for the return of the junior competition on Friday, July 31.
Club officials were overwhelmed by the attendance.
“We had 20 kids show up tonight and it was the first competition since Covid so I was pretty stoked with how many we had show up here,” club coach Mitchell Ryan explained.
When asked what advice he had to offer the kids following their recent hiatus?
“Just have fun,” he concluded.
“It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, it’s all about improvement and each time you come back you’ll get better and better.”
