Lane proves successful

Seven healthy and keen veteran golfers played a stableford event at the Murrurundi Golf Club last week.

Many thanks to Howie Lane for preparing the greens and processing the cards. Thanks also to John Norman for the tasty pies for lunch. The course is looking good after the recent rain.

Howie Lane did best to win with 30 points from our president Paul Gorman 2nd 24.

Balls went to John Norman 21 and Tommy Thompson 20.

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Wayne Murphy.
