Heavy Vehicle Detour on Golden Highway at Denman

Heavy vehicle drivers are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on the Golden Highway north of Denman for maintenance work to be carried out on the level crossing by the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC).
Restricted Access Heavy Vehicles will need to detour via Denman and Wybong roads from 6.30am on Monday 22 November until 11am on Thursday 25 November.
Signs and traffic control will guide heavy vehicle traffic through the detour, which will add up to 45 minutes additional travel time.
This section of the Golden Highway will be closed to all Oversize Overmass (OSOM) vehicles during this time with no local detour available.
OSOM operators are requested to avoid the area while work is carried out.
Light vehicles and school buses can continue to travel on this section of the Golden Highway via a temporary side-track but coaches will have to use the detour.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic control and all signs.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
