House fire at Parkville

Emergency services were responded to a house fire at Parkville (near Scone) this morning.

At 07:41am members from Aberdeen Fire and Rescue 208, Scone Fire and Rescue 443, multiple NSW Rural Fire Service units and NSW Ambulance responded to the call with possible pets trapped inside.

On arrival crews gained access and knocked down the seat of the fire and upon searches of the building thankfully no pets were inside at the time.

“Due to limited water resources, Pumper 208 had to relay pump water from our truck to Scone’s pump for a continuous water supply,” one Aberdeen Fire and Rescue member explained.

“Thanks to Kingdon Ponds Fire and Rescue for relay pumping water into our truck as well.”
