Future Australian Diamonds were uncovered at the Singleton Netball Gala Day.

The local association managed to hold a memorable come and try clinic on Saturday prior to this week’s wild weather.

New junior players were put to the task of showcasing their skills, agility and athleticism before onlookers at Singleton’s Rose Point Park.

The main sponsor for the event was The Bloomfield Group alongside Roberts Meats and The Greater.

“Staff from the Greater came down and handed the participants a Goody bag,” one committee member explained.

“The girls were super excited and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

“We want to acknowledge Gail Solman, coach convenor, young coaches and the senior umpires and the junior umpires.

“Also Karen Day who cooked the BBQ and handed the food out to the participants greatly assisted by all the junior coaches and umpires.”
