State titles three years in the making

The wait is almost over.

The HART Junior Netball Titles will return this weekend for the first time since 2019.

For juniors like Singleton defender Ciah Howe, the devastation of cancelled tournaments has finally come to an end.

“It’s an honour to represent Singleton Netball,” she told The Hunter River Times.

“When covid-19 cancelled State Titles so close to when we were meant to play, it was very disappointing.

“None of us have had the opportunity to play at State due to the last two years being cancelled, so it will be great to finally experience.”

Singleton Netball Representative Convenor Sarah Anderson has also passed on her best wishes to families, coaches, managers, umpires and families who will be participating.

“After the cancellation of last year we are all very excited for the teams to take the court and represent Singleton Netball,” she added.

Bulga Civil Earthmoving and Concreting has jumped on board as the major sponsor of Singleton Representative Netball.

The team sponsors are Kidd Electrical (Singleton 12s), Ray White Singleton (Singleton 13s) and BJS Workwear (Singleton 14s) while Titan Group, Woolworths Singleton and Ausmech have also been recognised for their continued support.
