Fragar hopes to end Country’s drought

BY ALEX TIGANI

Singleton Bull Leo Fragar will make his way to Bathurst this Saturday.

There he will try to guide the under-14 NSW Country side to Tim Gavin Shield glory when they playoff against the NSW City Side.

Fragar was one of three junior Singleton Bulls to trial for the side at Blacktown earlier this month.

A group of 46 players were split into two teams before a final list of 23 was named on Wednesday, July 6.

Since 1980, the City representative side has held a 13 to 5 winning record.

Country will now hope to end an 11-year drought.
