Bulls to host the Rats

The Singleton Bulls have set a date for their first match.

Jackson Walsh’s line-up will play host to the Warringah Rats’ lower two grades at Singleton’s Rugby Park on Saturday, March 4.

The Bulls last played the Sydney based outfit in March 2020, only days before the region’s first covid-lockdown.

The Hunter Rugby season will commence on Saturday, April 14 while another trial match date has been set for the club on Saturday, April 1.

The Hunter River Times can confirm that players gathered at the club for a meeting last night to discuss the upcoming season.

MEANWHILE tickets are still available for the Singleton Bulls’ trivia night fundraiser in support of the under-16 side’s Tour of Fiji.

There will be lots of fun games, challenges, 100 club, coin toss, joker draw and plenty of laughs.

The event will take place 6:30pm for 7pm start on Friday, February 17 at the Singleton Rugby Club ($200 per table, includes finger foods).
