Singleton’s Jules Kirkpatrick has re-signed with the Knights NRLW side until at least the end of 2027.
She is one of three Newcastle players who have re-signed; Olivia Higgins, a Jillaroo and Blues representative, activated a mutual option for 2026 while Kirkpatrick and Tiana Davison both extended their contracts until at least the end of 2027.
Head Coach Ben Jeffries said they’re delighted all three are staying.
“We are delighted all three players have extended their contracts.
“Jules has played every game this year, cementing her NRLW position after making her debut in Round 1 against the Bulldogs.
“She is one of several local juniors rising rapidly through our pathway’s programs and we know the future is bright when characters like Jules commit long term to the club,” Ben said.
Jules earned her selection with the Knights NRLW squad ahead of the 2023 campaign after playing her junior footy in Singleton and moving through the Newcastle Knights pathways program. -Jess Rouse
