A combined 15 sides from the Upper Hunter travelled to Dubbo for the NSW Touch Football Junior State Cup last month.
Singleton was well represented with six sides including an impressive under-14 girls’ line-up.
They finished with a 5-1 record thanks to wins against Tamworth (7-0), Newcastle (3-2), Taree (8-0), Carlingford (1-0) and Wallsend (3-1).
The boys also finished strong, rectifying an initial 0-4 record when adding two late wins against Scone and Northern Suburbs (both 7-3 results).
