Fundraising efforts are well underway for the Singleton based group which has qualified for the World Cheerleading Championships.

The TK Collaborations’ representative dance team will be representing Australia in the Junior Pom Team category of the World titles which will be held in Orlando, Florida from April 22-24.

A GoFundMe page titled ‘Help send us to Florida’ by Junior Pom Australia has raised $810 of a target $10,000.

A future Bunnings BBQ will also be held on Saturday, March 25.

Co-coach Terri Vollmer has confirmed her group is open to further sponsorships ahead of their April 16 departure date.

“There’s a whole team of support behind them because it is a big deal,” she revealed.

Last year the US National team prevailed in the Junior Pom Team competition and were joined on the podium by Team Mexico (second) and the Slovenian Cheer Union (third). The top eight also featured teams from Finland (fourth), Scotland (fifth), Chinese Taipei (sixth), England (seventh) and Mongolia (eighth).
