Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on Kayuga Road at Kayuga Bridge, Muswellbrook, for essential maintenance.
Transport for NSW will carry out the work, which includes bridge inspection and general maintenance for the ongoing safety of motorists.
Kayuga Bridge will be closed temporarily from Monday 2 February from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday. Work is expected to be completed in four days, weather permitting.
A detour will be in place for all traffic during the closure.
From Muswellbrook, vehicles will follow Sydney Street, Denman Road, then turn onto Bengalla Road and continue past the Bengalla Mine before reconnecting with Wybong Road. The same route is used for travel in both directions. Motorists should allow 15 minutes’ extra travel time during this closure.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
