Like the family expectant parents, we have all been waiting for confirmation of when we will head to the polls for the 2025 Federal Election.
The date has today been officially announced, on May 3 we will head to the polls to have our say in the leadership of our country.
While most of our readership area will remain in the Federal seat of Hunter, residents of the Muswellbrook Shire will this year get to meet a whole new group of candidates as the boundary shifts to include them in the New England seat.
As we move through the coming weeks, The Hunter River Times will do our best to keep the community informed with the latest news from candidates.
