Merriwa Magpie Kelly Maslen is one of the big names lining up in the women’s competition.

The 34-year-old Group 21 representative will be lining up for the Hunter Hawkettes who will play off against the Valley Vixens at 11:55am and 2pm before their final at 4:30pm.

“It is good to returning to the competition because the day was awesome and good fun when we last played,” she explained.

“We have had a few names pull out last minute so it is still undecided who will be in the final line-up but we’re expecting quality games.”

Less than a fortnight after celebrating a Monarch Ladies League Tag premiership, Scone Thoroughbred Samantha Elphick has been named in the Valley Vixens line-up.

The 25-year-old was crowned as the leading scorer of the Group 21 competition for 2022.
