The past year has seen such extraordinary seasonal conditions combined with robust cattle markets.
This is according to Justin Richards ahead of Pentire’s 10th Annual Sale who has described these conditions as a blessing to the beef industry and whole agricultural sector.
He invites all those who are interested in the milestone sale held at Goorgangoola’s Greenmount farm, which his family has called home for five generations.
“We’re at number ten already,” Richards smiled.
“You pick little things behind the scenes and it gets easier and you refine the process over time.
“I don’t remember a lot from the first sale, I think we started with 15 bulls on the farm.”
This year’s catalogue features 28 bulls which will sire thicker, bigger butted, muscular topped calves which will enable buyers to make more dollars on their sale day.
Each one is ready to go straight to work for you and your herd.
As for the inside word?
“The top cow will be Renegade,” his son Jessie Richards, 4, concluded.
The sale will take place on Saturday, August 13 commencing at 1pm.
