Postal votes for the Local Government Election will be counted from Friday with official results not expected from the NSW Electoral Commission until December 22.
Results from yesterday’s count in Singleton, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter are as follows.
Sue Moore remains ahead for the position of Singleton’s mayor with 5252 first preference votes. Danny Thompson is on 3844, Tony Jarrett is on 3097, and Belinda Charlton on 1720.
In the councillor vote, 14289 of the potential 17,080 first preference votes have been counted.
