There was plenty of action on Singleton Netball Association courts on May 15 but there wasn’t a netball in sight.
It was the annual march past, an event the association has held since day dot.
There was once a time when the teams would march down the main street but these days it is all focused at the grounds with plenty of colour, war cries and happy faces.
Association life member Peggy Moore had the honour of choosing the team she felt participated with gusto and that award went to Queen Bees Best, marching team trophy went to TBH Diamonds, best team uniform was Carries Place Butterflies and the best creative team award went to Lobstars.
