The Singleton Netball Association Opens Representative team season finally got underway on Sunday, August 2.

With the 2020 representative season impacted by COVID-19, the Opens headed to Woy Woy to compete in Round 1 of Regional League.

Coached by Kerri Koosmen, the Opens had some positive results with four wins from their five games on the day. The Opens are looking forward to Round 2 of Regional League at Singleton this Sunday. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be limited spectators permitted to attend.

The U12’s and U13’s representative teams coached by Emma Welsh and Gail Solman, were also thrilled to take the courts at the Cessnock Netball Association Gala Day. After their proposed carnival at Westlakes was washed out the weekend before, the weather was kind and both teams had success and enjoyed the day.

MEANWHILE Singleton Netball Association’s Winter Competition moves into Round 5 this weekend. Division 1 fixture commences at 2pm with Blisters taking on Genesis while Hype face off against SEMS. Followed by iTF Sharks and Vanquish at 3.30pm.
