If you had a phone torch at 7pm on Sunday, chances are you were shining it on the 17th green.
Moments earlier it was discovered that the C-Grade competitors Scott Stewart and Brock Hawkins had finished equal on top due to a miscount.
Therefore they returned to the course and Hawkins secured the C-Grade title thanks to a long drive.
“It was pretty crazy, congratulations Brock – you were the best golfer out there today,” Stewart said.
Hawkins thanked green staff, scoring volunteers and fellow players.
“Sorry Chicko, it was a rough ride here but very well played mate,” Hawkins concluded.
