The Singleton Veterans Golf Association has played a key role in the history of the club.
Since early 1994 the club’s greats from yesteryear have competed in their own competition and a copy of their history was buried in the centenary time capsule for the veterans of 2072 to read.
Singleton’s Robert Morrissey prevailed in the Veterans Invitational, held on Thursday October 27, ahead of runner up Charles Noble (Castle Hill), Joseph Jackson (Patterson) and Richard Barrington (Singleton).
Col Curnow was also inducted as a life member following three decades with the association.
