About 2.30am today (Wednesday 3 December 2025), officers from the Hunter Valley Police District responded to reports of a break and enter at a shopping centre on Rutherford Road, Muswellbrook.
Inquiries have established that three persons entered the centre at 1.30am and left about 45 minutes later.
Several stores were broken into with extensive damage being done to stock.
A crime scene was established which was examined by specialist police.
As investigations continue police are urging anyone with information about the incident – or was in the area at the time with any available dashcam/mobile phone footage – to contact Muswellbrook Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
