There were, 341 competitors, and a crowd of over 5000 people in attendance at the very popular Singleton Rodeo last weekend.

It was a huge win for the bulls in the open bull ride with no rider able to maintain the eight seconds leaving the riders disappointed but the bulls very satisfied in their performance.

President for the Singleton NAA Bill Stacey with vice presidents Robbie George, Susan Wakeford and Nadine Feeney and members of the Rodeo Committee proudly donated $5000 to The MHERV charity to support the important work they do for Men’s Health.

The committee thanked all the businesses and families who continually support Singleton Rodeo.

“We cannot do this without them,” Robbie George said.

“We also thank Witmore Enterprise for the Bistro and the CWA ladies who all do a wonderful job with food and drinks throughout the event adding to its success and enjoyment by those in attendance.”

Bill Stacey also thanked the NAA committee who all worked tirelessly.

“From manning the gates to the office, to the workers on the ground it makes a huge difference to have such a committed team to make this such a success,” Bill said.

Marrhi Fabrications from Glendonbrook sponsored the Highest scoring Junior Local Bull Rider with $200 and a cap and the winner was Clay Thomas with a 70 Point ride.  Clay also won a Buckle kindly donated by Jono Couling Contracting.
