Upper Hunter Shire Council advises that the Boil Water Alert for Scone, Aberdeen and Murrurundi (including the Murrurundi Pipeline) has now been lifted, following the latest water quality test results and in consultation with NSW Health.
Residents can now use tap water for drinking and food preparation without the need for boiling. Council continues to monitor water quality closely.
