Singleton trainer Aaron Goadsby hopes he can continue to build on his success from the past month.
As Covid-19 restrictions slowly ease in all forms of racing, further attention will be cast on New Zealand born harness talent Getarattleon.
The five-year-old gelding stormed home to take out a three-length victory in Newcastle on Monday, June 15.
“He is a horse that is a pleasure to have around the stable and everybody loves him but he doesn’t try real hard at the races,” Goadsby told The Hunter River Times.
“As much as he is a pet around the stables, he was well placed last start and he then managed to get the win in good time.
“We altered his training just to fire him up a bit and we put the saddle on him and rode him like a galloper to change the mental attitude to it.”
