The Singleton Netball Association held its virtual awards ceremony last month.
The association’s senior club person award was tied between Sarah Anderson and Gail Solman after both were recognised for their contribution throughout the year.
“It is always a difficult vote as we all appreciate the time and effort many people put in to ensure the Association can run smoothly,” Singleton Netball Association president Kerri Koosmen explained.
“This year’s vote was no different and while I don’t have a vote initially, I cast the deciding vote if there is a tie.
“Guess what, we had a tie.”
MEANWHILE Claire Howe was the recipient of the junior club person award, Chloe Baldwin was recognised with the Umpiring Service Award and Sharon Power received a coaching accolade.
