Results of the Singleton Local Government By-election was announced this morning by Singleton returning officer Graham Clothier.
There is now a 24 hour period in place for potential result appeals with the official declaration anticipated tomorrow at around 10am.
Re-elected to Singleton Council are: Danny Thompson, Malinda McLachlan, Tony Jarrett, Godfrey Adamthwaite, Hollee Jenkins, Sue George, Val Scott and Tony McNamara.
Belinda Charlton was not re-elected with Sarah Johnstone elected.
The initial manual count takes in first preference votes with the second count done by data entry where preferences are included. These results will be on the NSW Electoral Commission website later this morning.
