THRT 11.1 CHARITY AUCTION scaled

Community Charity Auction

All profits of the inaugural Community Charity Auction on May 31 will be donated to Dementia Australia – a cause close to the hearts of the team at Bailey Property & Livestock.

“It is one of those conditions that affects a lot of people, a very worthwhile cause to support,” Scott Bailey said.

Dementia Australia is the national peak body supporting people living with dementia, their families and carers.

An estimated 433,300 Australians live with dementia, and 1.7 million people are involved in their care. Dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia and will likely soon become the first, yet it remains a challenging and often misunderstood condition.

With that in mind, Bailey are organising the charity auction that will see hundreds of items go under the hammer at Singleton Showground from 10am.

There will be a range of farming equipment and sundry items up for auction.

Singleton Junior Rugby Union are also getting in on the act and will serve up a delicious barbecue and drinks with Brazo Beans serving up the perfect coffee.

Lachlan Stewart is taking the vendor bookings.  Lachlan can be contacted on 0472 984 383 or visit https://www.baileyhuntervalley.com.au/clearing-sale/community-auction/

Intending purchasers must register to bid, Photo ID will be required. Some items may be subject to GST which will be added to the knock down price.

A five per cent buyer’s premium and a five per cent vendor commission will be applied with these proceeds donated to Dementia Australia.
