Price adds youth to squad

Last month Howe Park Croquet Club’s Betty Price arrived with great granddaughter Chloe and her friend Cameron to find out what Croquet is all about.
Cameron managed two jump shots on the first two hoops. Chloe enjoyed the challenge also. Another four regular ladies arrived as well.

Saturday, July 30
- Betty Price and Colleen McMahon defeated Val Smith and guest Chloe 7-3.
- Robyn Schmierer and Colleen McMahon defeated Lois Brooker and Val Smith 7-5.
- Lois Brooker and Robyn Schmierer defeated Betty Price and Val Smith 7-5.
- Three played a singles game resulting in Cameron scoring 7 hoops, Robyn 4 and Lois 3.
Saturday, August 6
- Lois Brooker and Carolyn Pearce defeated Robyn Schmierer and Betty Price 7-4.
- Lois Brooker and Betty Price defeated Carolyn Pearce and Robyn Schmierer 7-6.
- Robyn Schmierer and Lois Brooker defeated Carolyn Pearce and Betty Price 7-5.
