Reds enter Sevens by the Sea tournament
The Pokolbin Reds have entered a team for the Lakes’ “Sevens by the Sea” to be held on Saturday, February 4.
The tournament, held at Budgewoi ‘s Slade Park, is open to Country and Sydney Subbies teams only.
Last year Kiama defeated Hornsby in the final of the Men’s Cup while Warnervale defeated Avoca in the Men’s Plate.
Terrigal also celebrated back-to-back Ladies Cup titles by defeating Briars in the decider.
“We are the first sevens tournament on the calendar for February – so, after a weekend watching sevens on the world stage at HSBC Sydney 7’s come and play at ours the week after,” one spokesperson explained.
All games will be streamed free to air for you all to enjoy.
