Howe Park hosts Woodbridge Cup

The action has returned to the Howe Park Tennis Club.

A total of 90 stage 2 (years 3 & 4) students from Singleton Public School, King Street Public School, Australian Christian College and St Catherine’s Catholic College represented their school at the zone event for the Todd Woodbridge Cup.

St Catherine’s Catholic College team A and Singleton Public School team A were the winners on the day moving through to compete at the regional event held later this year.

“Every school displayed great sportsmanship and had lots of fun,” Howe Park Tennis Club’s Heidi Stanford told The Hunter River Times.

This was one of 52 Todd Woodbridge Cup competitions running in 2022.

The State Championship event will be held on Monday, November 14.
