Local trio aim for NSW Amateur Open glory

Branxton’s Corey Lamb is one of three locals currently competing in the NSW Men’s Amateur Open.

This year’s event is being held in Wollongong and Lamb will once again be one to watch.

Earlier this month the 20-year-old finished fourth at the Master of the Amateurs competition at the Victoria Golf Club.

This week marks his third start in the NSW Amateur Open after debuting at Twin Creeks in 2019. That same year the Branxton talent won both the NSW and Queensland junior titles.

Lamb is joined in the field by Muswellbrook pair Brady Benkovic and Josh Fuller.
