Titles for Banks and Hobbs
Scone golfer Lyn Banks has gone back-to-back in 2022.
In the NSW Veteran Golfers Association Matchplay Championship played at Nelson Bay, Horizons and Pacific Dunes earlier this month she defended the women’s title with a win in the last round 5 and 3.
Ross Banks was the consolation winner in Division 1.
The championship will move to Shoalhaven Heads next year.
MEANWHILE Matt Hobbs has added a Murrurundi Open to his long list of achievements.
The Murrurundi Open was also held on Sunday, June 5. He won the scratch event with a fine round of three-over-par.
