Monday night lights

BY ALEX TIGANI

There were mixed scenes of adulation and disappointment on Monday night.

For the first time in recent history the Singleton Netball Association’s top tier netballers battled for the ultimate prize under lights.

Crowds gathered as Blisters celebrated a 55-50 win over SEMS in the Division 1 decider while Mayhem pulled off an upset win over SVH Fully Loaded 38-25 in the Division 2 battle.

Rose Point Park will now play host to grand finals for Divisions 3, 4 and GO this Saturday before the perpetual awards will be held that evening from 6pm.

The Singleton Netball Association will then be holding a free clinic and Gala Day on Saturday, September 17.
