Simon shines at Speedbowl
Locals have made tracks to the podium after another great day of racing at the Lake Liddell Speedbowl on the weekend.
With the dust settled the 20-lap feature for the POWRi 600cc Microsprints put on a show for the spectators on the hill.
Singleton’s Simon Bestmann had to put in the work to get to the pointy end of the field, but he made it to the chequered flag in third.
After their feature the drivers got out the tools and put wings on the cars to mix things up.
With light fading their winged feature was about getting it done, and that is just what Roy Urpeth did, holding off some speedy challenges to take out third.
On Sunday the track hosted their first Ride Park Day after getting approval to run motorbikes at the Speedbowl.
