Cats return to the competition

The Muswellbrook Cats have been hard at work.
The Cats played off in a trial match against Singleton in 2022 before regrouping for a 12-month period. They now have a squad of 21 players and counting.
“The girls are really keen and enjoying the preseason, they are really getting around each other and numbers have been really good since the first session in January,” Muswellbrook’s assistant coach Dom White told The Hunter River Times.
“As for our CrossFit program, we are getting 12 girls every session and they are killing it.”
The Cats, who will be coached by Brian Scott, will take on Singleton in the opening match of the Bush to Beach AFL Carnival before challenging the Gunnedah Bulldogs.
