Fashion to Hit the Catwalk to Support Singleton Hospital

When is the last time you went to a fashion parade?
One would guess it has been years but on May 13 you can experience the catwalk fun and by doing so, support the fund raising efforts of Singleton Hospital Auxiliary.
The Auxiliary has organised its Mothers’ Day Fashion Parade fund raising event for Saturday, May 13, at Singleton Golf Club.
The event includes the beautiful fashions of Little Secrets Boutique and a delicious afternoon tea.
Singleton Golf Club is the venue, tickets cost $30, and are available from Little Secrets Boutique in Singleton and the Hospital itself.
Auxiliary president Elaine Staunton is hoping for strong support from the community and said members have been buoyed by the response so far.
“Our organisation supports the hospital and funds raised are used to purchase medical equipment and support items for use at Singleton Hospital,” Elaine said.
Recent expenditure included $13,000 on a sling lift to assist with the mobilisation of patients.
“It is about helping others and I cannot thank the community enough for their ongoing support,” Elaine said.
The group meets on the fourth Thursday of every month at 2pm at the hospital.
