TRAVELLING JUNIORS – ROUND 13 RESULTS
Under 11’s – Today’s game was a good challenge with the team having to push hard all the way to their good win. Players were shuffled into different positions and they had to learn to adapt their game to suit, which they did well. With one game to go team members continue to build the understanding of how to work for each other to get a team result.
Under 12’s – Absolute fantastic game today by the U12’s who had the full team for the first this year. The defence was on point again this week and we were able get the win 11 – 2 against Weston in our last home game for the year.
The U/13’s Eagles moved closer to claiming the minor premiership with 4 goals to nil victory over the Weston Bears at home. An entertaining period of controlled passing & possession saw 3 quick goals netted in the first half. The second stanza saw an end to end battle for the ball which had the Eagles score again. Great effort by the U/13’s to take a clear lead on the ladder with one competition game to be completed.
Our U15’s team continued their fight for a final’s birth upsetting second-placed Warners Bay 2-0.
