The Pokolbin Reds will enter this weekend’s bye with satisfaction thanks to a successful start in the Newcastle Hunter Rugby Union Divisional season.
The Reds have celebrated victories over Medowie (14 to 12), Griffins (29 to 5) and the Waratahs (21 to 8) however were unable to hold off Cooks Hill last week.
Pokolbin will hope that the Waratahs pull off an upset win over Cooks Hills to stay on top of the ladder after this weekend.
