There is a large amount of water over a lot of roads in the LGA, motorists are reminded to drive to conditions.

Water over road at the below locations, roads still open:

Garland Road, Cessnock

Alkira Avenue, Cessnock

Anzac Avenue, Cessnock

Government Road, Cessnock

Motorists are advised to drive to conditions and we will update this post once roads are reopened. Bridge and road inspections will need to be carried out before roads are reopened.

Barrington West Road at Rocky Crossing, causeway closed in both directions.
