Brian and Marion Fellowes (Beautiful People)

SHARE THE STORY:

Each fortnight, The Hunter River Times, presents beautiful people with a bouquet of flowers just to say thank you.

This week’s recipients were Singleton’s Brian and Marion Fellowes, two very deserving nominees in our eyes.

In typical Fellowes style, they were found volunteering at Dolly’s Charity Shop in George Street, Singleton, putting together the shop’s display when The Times presented them with the flowers on Monday.

They were nominated by Ian and Alison Vickers who say the couple certainly deserve recognition.

Both spend many hours doing good deeds for others, too many to list here, and more than likely, many we don’t even know about.

They are just very kind and caring human beings and give to the community through their Baptist Church.

Brian also offers his time to the Christian Israelite Church doing all sorts of jobs.

Even a leisurely walk isn’t a time to relax and Brian is regularly seen walking around Cook Park and Rose Point Park with his dog, Ted, collecting discarded rubbish along the way.

While they might not always know Brian, they certainly know Ted, who is most at home in the Singleton parkland.

Thank you to Ian and Alison for nominating Brian and Marion.

The next bouquet goes to Muswellbrook.

If you have someone in mind who you think deserves a little thank you, please call The Hunter River Times on 0456 822 453, and we will see what we can do.
